| Annually at Mosaic, we celebrate the next generation of Christian leaders as well as what God is doing through the generations. God has given us a gift of wonderful diversity, both age-wise and ethnically. This gift requires stewardship, vision, and investment, and demonstrating that kind of stewardship this Sunday, September 6, is what NXTGEN Sunday is all about. Quickly, here are 8 great reasons why I can’t wait for NXTGEN Sunday: 8. I get to wear my school colors, and so do you (high school, college, or kids’ schools, it doesn’t matter…just rep something)! 7. Being led in worship by gifted students and children moves my heart. 6. I am reminded in a fresh and important way that the church is not fundamentally about me, but others. 5. It remains top secret as to which pastors, but some of our pastors will be participating in the dance at the North campus. Bring your cameras. 4. Breakfast will be served before the first service at each campus (8:00 a.m. North; 9:00 a.m. South). 3. I’ll get to hear great stories of young people coming to faith in Christ. 2. I’ll get to see great new video content featuring my fellow Mosaic members and hear their hopes and dreams for the future. And, best of all: 1. Along with you, I get to show the next generation how important they are to Jesus and his Kingdom. A small request: please be on time and in your seat or pew when the service begins!
