Sometimes I Like to Bother You…

…is the name of our upcoming Marriage Weekend at Mosaic.

Alternatively titled, “How the Beatitudes Help Debunk the Myths People Believe About Marriage,” Carrie and I will be looking at just that:

How Jesus’ teaching on “the blessed life” in Matthew 5 helps us do better in our marriages, and can overcome myths we have believed or imbibed somehow, some way.

Teaching and ministering on marriage, as we have done for many years, is one of our favorite things to do, and we want to invite all married and engaged couples to this special weekend of fun, teaching, growth, friendship deepening, and laughter.

We know that one weekend alone can’t fix every issue a marriage may face, but we also believe that the right kind of environment is crucial to sustain what is good, and can help begin a journey of healing for chronic challenges couples may face.

Most couples don’t have enough fun, nor enough friends, and Carrie and I both deeply believe that each of those factors are critical, non-negotiable components for a great marriage–and this weekend will help get each couple going with a little bit of each.

The cost is only $100 per couple (plus childcare), which includes three meals, activities, tons of fun, and a super fun atmosphere for couples to thrive in.

Perhaps best of all, you’ll hear how much Carrie likes to bother me (see this video for a sneak peek)!

Registration is limited to the first 150 couples, so sign up ASAP and lock in your spot before they disappear (they always do for this event).

The Marriage “Blessed Life”  awaits.

A great weekend with your spouse awaits.

Time together with people who are cheering for you awaits.

Best of all, our Heavenly Father awaits with a word that can show you how, as we like to put it, “irritants can become accelerants.”

See you there!
