April Lessons for mKids!

PRE-K CURRICULUM

Here are our upcoming lessons:

IN THE GARDEN: JESUS IS ARRESTED | It’s worth it to care! It’s worth it to share! Jesus put us first because He knew it was worth it. Putting others first gives us joy–and it gives others joy! Keep on the lookout for ways you can care for others the way Jesus cares for you!

“…look out for the good of others.”  Philippians 2:4 NIRV

A HAPPY SUNDAY: THE EMPTY TOMB | Our sins separate us from God, but God had a plan of grace to bring us back to friendship with Him. Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins. He rose again three days later. We accept God’s grace by choosing to believe Jesus lives again and asking for His forgiveness and leadership.

“…believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead…” Romans 10:9 NLT

GOD’S GOOD NEWS | God gave us the Bible so we can learn His truth: God made us to be His friends! The Bible is God’s true story. It tells us God made you and me to be His friends! Feed the Bible’s truth to your heart so you can learn from it. It will turn the lights on for your heart so you know who God is and what He’s done for you!

“… It is useful for teaching us what is true. …” 2 Timothy 3:16 NIRV

5 & KINDER THROUGH 2ND GRADE CURRICULUM

Here are our upcoming lessons:

GRACE | God loves us so much that He doesn’t give us the punishment we deserve for our sins. Instead, He gives us new life, freedom from sin, and changes us completely through His Holy Spirit when we accept the sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross. That is great news!

Unfortunately, culture perpetuates lies that keep us from reaching freely for God’s grace. The teachings of humanism center on humanity as the ultimate good, but that’s not true. We are all sinners. There is no one good, not even one. And relativism tries to convince us that we are fine, as long as we are authentic and we follow what we believe in our heart to be true. But the heart is deceitful above all else and takes us far from God if we haven’t been transformed by Jesus. We all need God’s grace. Every single one of us.

LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES | Can kids really make wise choices? Yes! When wisdom comes from God, it isn’t always all about how old you are or how much life experience you have! God will give wisdom to anyone who asks Him for it.

Kids may not make wise choices every time—most adults don’t either—but everyone can grow in wisdom. Making wise choices isn’t always easy, and it’s independent of how smart or good we are. True wisdom comes only from God. Wisdom is a journey we can take with God cheering us on as we walk in His way. Grow in wisdom like Jesus: read and know His Word, listen to and copy the parents and leaders He has placed in your lives, and ask Him when you need direction. When we mess up, we can learn from our mistakes and accept the grace God gives us.

3RD THROUGH 5TH GRADE CURRICULUM

Here are the upcoming lessons:

AMEN | The Loop Show likes you! Yes, you! This episode explores a real question sent in by a real Loop Show viewer: “Why do we say ‘amen’ at the end of prayers?” Your students certainly do have big questions. After discussing the meaning of “amen,” this episode will help your students understand that God is always listening to our prayers. Amen!

GET GRACE | A three-week series to help your students know how good God’s grace is and how to share it with others! They’ll learn that each of us gets grace, even though we could never deserve it. And each of us gets to pass on grace to those around us!
