GOD’S AMAZING PROMISE | Faith is choosing to trust, believe, and live God’s way. Our faith seed grows when we remember the great things God has done before and wait patiently to see His promises to us come true. Follow Marty as he learns the Bible Adventure for Kids story, God’s Amazing Promise, memorizes the Bible verse Psalm 31:14, and answers the question, “How do I show faith?”

GOD’S AMAZING PROMISE (February 1st & 8th)
THE FIRST SIN: TRUST GOD | Faith is trusting God with your whole heart. Sometimes, your heart can play tricks on you–it may make you want something that’s not best for you or other people. But you can always trust God to show you what’s best! Lean on Him, not your own understanding. Follow Marty as he learns the Bible App for Kids story, The First Sin, memorizes the Bible verse, Proverbs 3:5, and answers the question, “Who can I trust?”

SO ANNOYING | This one-week teaching focus on out what loving God and loving others looks like—accepting God’s forgiveness and extending it to others through forgiving, selfless service, and choosing to be at peace around people who get under your skin.

PEER RELATIONSHIPS | How can we show love to everyone—even those who hurt us? How do we make real friends? And what if our family isn’t feeling very friendly? There’s a lot to figuring out relationships!
Friendships, peer relationships, and family relationships matter! They’re influential, so you’ve got to think about who you hang out with, how you respond to people, and who you can reach out to when you need extra support. Base your friendships and relationships on a godly foundation so you can love everyone, stand out as a good friend, and find friends who will encourage you to live like Jesus. Be a peaceful influence in your family, even if things aren’t going great, and reach out to trusted adults when you need help.

IN THE MIRROR | This week will help your students learn that God made them in His image and that He treasures them. They’ll learn that God’s love for them has been there from the beginning of creation. And they’ll also learn that God wants them to partner with Him in caring for creation.
